I was browsing auxy tracks on Soundcloud last night and saw something called “Stratosphere ReRemix”. It was a remix of some other remix… Just wondering why people do this, and not make their own seperate remix.

I wonder why people do this too. They also shouldn’t post Remix on Auxy links in songs that are remixes.
Sometimes people like the way a certain mix sounds, and want to put their own spin on it as if it were the base song. I know that sounds stupid but it’s how it happens. I do agree maybe it shouldn’t happen in the first place but I dunno, I think it’s important to build off of what you like in music and not what you don’t like.

@crystldawnmusic @Aqzi Usually people remix a song because they like it and have some ideas to improve it. But this can also happen if you like a remix. It’s not standard to do this usually, but it has been done, in the popular case of this one: Skrillex & Diplo - Where Are Ü Now with Justin Bieber (Marshmello Remix)[Skrillex Flip]
