Why Do People Not Like Marble?

Lots of people say they don’t like Marble. Why? I’ve always loved it.

It’s hard to fit into the genres that most of us write in my opinion. (future bass or house or a third genre that I can’t think of)
I will insert an explanation in here soon of why.

It just feels awkward using Marble. The odd, echoey baby voice it gives just somehow doesn’t fit in some way. Although, there has been use for it in most hip hop tracks.

Perfect for me  It’s creepy… perfect for Halloween coming up

It’s just awful.

I love it as well

I find Marble to be sort of a bell-like sound, like a church bell. But it’s so unusable because of how distorted it is. If Marble were less distorted, and more clear, people would definitely use it. Oh, for hip-hop, there’s so many uses for a church bell. Marble’s our best bet, but it’s just too durn distorted to be good enough.

IMO it’s pretty great. @nep used it in an awesome way for a contest I made, Unwanted Instruments.

Here’s a sample of it (tweaked my me):

I think its a fine sound. Definitely harder to match it with a track, you prob want to go with something more sp00ky or trap sounding for it.
i have an old track, that used Marble and it fits pretty well imo.
