Honestly, I love a lot of the pads. Aside from those, I enjoy using Hour (as a non-wub ;3), Stress, Gossip (fite me) and Vacuum.

I also have a deep soft spot for a lot of the OG sounds as well.

The OG sounds are a nice, well rounded bunch.

Blob pretty cool for dub/brostep when riding the automation on LPF/HPF

Yeah xD I was just being sarcastic when I said I hated it. For me, I just never used it.

I know stress is more commonly used as an 8-bit lead and arp, however I like to think of both gossip and stress being useful in terms of being either a riser or an 8-bit arp.

I guess it’s just about preference, but if I were to use both in a track, I’d probably make gossip the arp and stress the lead because

  1. Stress can sound slightly overdrived when placed together in a small area once the tempo is fast enough and
  2. Gossip sounds much cleaner in my opinion compared to Stress.

Again, it does depend on preference :slightly_smiling_face:
I think I’ve heard anechoik too many times to believe that stress is perfect as a riser more than an 8-bit lead/arp

…Marble.

Nah just kidding. It’s not actually that bad of a sound, but I don’t really use it. I have a LOT of favorites, so I might do something like @Matik and make a category list (cause honestly what I like depends on what I’m writing). Some of my go-to sounds though: Sweet saw (great for starting/planning chords, as it’s a basic and simple sound), Hug, Spray (best emotional EDM lead with pitch shift), Noir, Glare, Dream, Fairy (For the sweet Eswyn arpeggios), Kiss (Just beautiful), ack there’s so many. Definitely gonna try and make a list or maybe even a spreadsheet with all sounds and my opinions/uses.

Tbh I like all of them. Each has its own flavor useful for different circumstances.
