When I got into EDM it was because of Glowstone dust by dubscure
Bonfire by Knife Party got me into dubstep, which led me to Never Looking Back by Stonebank. The Saint by Conro got me into Future Bass and The Leader by Calyx and Teebee got me into drum and bass.
Moar Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff by deadmau5 was the first track that really caught my attention and inspired me to delve into the world of electronic music.

Edge by REZZ really made me interested in super bass-heavy tracks.
Probably scary monsters and nice sprites by Skrillex
For EDM it was “Sun is Shining” by Axwell & Ingrosso. My best friend showed it to me during our schools art club.
Coldplay set me up for alternative rock with an orchestra. On the likes of some Muse songs, Woodkid, bit o’ Queen, bit o’ ELO ect ect. Not that I can make it, but I sure like it.

Shelter (Porter Robinson and Madeon), Sad Machine (Actually just Porter Robinson in general), and some of Snail’s House’s stuff (Specifically Pixel Dream) got me off of my straight 128bpm 4 on the floor dance beat stuff I was writing. I had trouble coming up with different and unique ideas. I’ve been listening to a lot more variety of Ambient and Future Bass-y kind of stuff more recently. I’ve been experimenting with lots of new styles and bpms - I’m just evolving my stuff and finding new things I like/am good at. Not sure about any specific tracks though, but I’ve also been delving into Ambient and Orchestral (I’ve always had a love for the Minecraft soundtrack over the years, so I feel like that might play a role into it.) Pretty much every deadmau5 song is what got me into progressive house and deep house originally.
Noisia, Sub Focus, Mampi Swift, Bad Company UK and Ram Trilogy got me into drum and bass.
Mala, Skream, Benga and Coki got me into dubstep (when it was good in my opinion lol).
Tiesto got me into trance.
NWA got me into hip hop.
Oxide and Neutrino got me into garage.
Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky and Zero 7 got me into trip hop.
