Hello everyone. Many of you may or may not know me, but today is a very important day to me. It is the day I have reached three thousand plays on my soundcloud. That may be a small number for everyone else, but for me that’s something I would have never believed possible back when I first started using Auxy as a music tool rather than a music toy. So, in celebration of my most liked track (as of 9:50 PM CST on 11/21/2017) I am hosting a remix contest for Re/Fragmented
Please title it as James Lucien - Re/Fragmented ([Your Name] [Optional Title] remix). Name required, optional title not required but appreciated because that’s what I love.
Use the cover art provided above. If you want to add a title to it that’s ok, just run it by me first if at all possible.
Don’t destroy my baby please D: JK completely tear it apart if you want. Just make sure it resembles the original song or the stems at least. You can focus on any part of the song too, but make sure there’s some part of it in there.
Have fun! The contest will close in three weeks from now on December 19, 2017 at 10 PM CST (-06:00 GMT).
I have 157 plays, haha… long way to go to catch up with you Not really fussed about plays though. Music’s just an escape for me really. If one person says “I really like this track” I’m made up for the rest of the week.
Just a quick update the remix contest is being extended out until December 19th, 2017 at 10 PM CST (-06:00 GMT) because I didn’t realize that final exams were happening that week! Yay xD So everyone who wanted to go ahead and get a remix done has more time to do so. Thanks for everyone currently participating, vocal and/or non-vocal for your support. You’ve made the last week and a half a lot more bearable for me to see your appreciation. ^w^
Oh crumbs I hadn’t spotted the deadline! I’ve downloaded the stems but that’s about as far as I’ve got for now. I do intend to create a remix but can’t promise it’ll be within the deadline.
There are exactly 10 days, 11 hours and 40 minutes remaining for the remix contest everyone. I’m hoping that more of you are interested in this or those who are still doing one will wrap theirs up soon.
