Ya left out the coolest thing about it…it’s a decentralized Blockchain music sharing platform!! You can register to add nodes & make money. Essentially skipping the greedy middlemen like artist labels, etc. I was just talking about what Auxy could possibly do using 5G & Blockchain tech. Could become a music making and sharing service with VR & token payment options for all kinds of unthoughtof badass features!

I was part of the closed beta and I can attest that it’s a really cool platform

Ye. Seems like a pretty promising platform with some well known artists already jumping on it. the devs also really seem to care about trying to make the site work and be as successful as it can be.

Highly recommend this platform to anyone who’s not already on it. It just went public a few days ago and the benefits to being part of a platform that’ll soon be a significant player in the music streaming scene (which I strongly believe Audius will) from day 1 are huge for almost no cost besides a few minutes here and there to sign up and grow your fanbase.

Here’s my audius (https://audius.co/arimyth). I’ll be following anyone that posts their link here and I encourage all of you to do the same so we can form an Auxy cult on the platf–I mean… grow our fanbases. :eyes:

Josh pan followed me for some reason

Good platform. Had some issues during Closed Beta, but found out it was mainly my internet.

Ah, alrighty

Now that I’ve looked into it a little bit, It’s actually a bit troubling. There’s no way to report songs, so if someone uploads your music illegally you’re out of luck. It also automatically tags your location to your profile if you log in with twitter. There’s also no user agreement or privacy policy when you sign up. Kinda sketchy to me.

Information about copyright claims can be found on their whitepaper, and your location being tagged is due to autofilled information from Twitter which you can remove yourself.

There’s also a link to their privacy policy on the main page (even before signing up for the service).

I like it, yes the lack of the ability to report tracks is a little concerning but they may be adding that in the future. I’m not sure I’ll stick with it, because I’ll have to see what the audio upload quality is like, but it seems pretty nice for upcoming artists to make a name for themselves.

And my link is @Bastyon (pretty self-explanatory)

Welcome to decentralization! Pro & cons are most definitely disputable at this point in time. Can’t argue that! Appreciate ya bringing em up.
