Woah many people uses it in portrait mode?

I think its too hard to write notes on the portrait mode it feels weird to see the piano roll like that imo

@MisterMaster I already created this topic. :grimacing::laughing:

Ive used GarageBand and Ableton for so long that its almost physically impossible for me to create in portrait.

Note placement in portrait, automation wrangling in landscape. Drum note placement either / or.

Uh huh yeah. Toooootally intentional :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have my orientation locked on portrait on both my ipad and my iphone. I just turn my iPad sideways when I put notes in at times. Otherwise I keep it oriented longways. It’s just easier for me. And I’m pretty sure older versions of the phone app didn’t even have a rotating function so I guess this choice stems from that xD

While I use the piano roll in GB, it feels much more fluid & natural to use portrait on a phone because, well it’s a phone and scrolling is easier too.

Same.

Aside from orienting my iPhone in portrait, for my iPad, I orientate it vertically as well. I do see why people using Auxy in Landscape, but I’m not that kinda person who would use it that way
