No, I haven’t. But I’m planning on taking a music theory class next year.

I took a theory class on college as an elective and my high school offered an electronic music class as an elective as well. It was pretty cool, never a formal class though, no. For production.

yeah i took one over my 7th grade summer at a local university although it was only one week so all i learned was how to use ableton. didn’t learn about any actual production techniques, just learned how to use a daw. still really helpful though, i wouldn’t be where i am today without that class.

If anyone is interested there are some online classes on Coursera. It’s not gonna be top notch or anything but it seems cool ^ ^

I’ve taken many different music classes, but not production.
But… I’m currently looking into it.

Someone’s teaching me chord structure, music theory, and Ableton rn

And also mallets :ok_hand:

I’ve taken a history of production class which hasn’t use produce our own records- pretty interesting stuff how we came so far with music recording technology!
