#573

I dont think im going through this round. Struggling to turn chords into decent compositions

#574

:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :point_right: MR. “CHORD GOD” ANDERSON

#576

Well right now, I’m having some poorly-placed writer’s block. So we’ll see…

#577

When you say 8 chords, does that mean 8 different chords completely or can some of them be variations/inversions of each other?

#578

hopefully @bedlegs posts his soon because i’ve been waiting for him to post before i post mine lmao

#579

You can have the same basic chords so long as they are different. For example, you could have an FM7b5 chord and also an FM11b9. Both are based on F major chords, but since they aren’t exactly the same, you could use both within your eight different chords.

Edit: As for inversions, we’d still consider that the same chord.

Yeet

#581

dude i havent started

#582

Im at the point where i am using maj9 for every chord

#583

You mean just a bunch of major nine chords starting on different chromatic notes?

#584

Uh oh spaghettios

#585

Alrighty.

@judges if you guys can’t find all eight different chords, just let me know and I can point them out.

#586

saturday is the 23rd

#588

I don’t know which date I meant so we’ll just say the 25th then

#589

Is this chromatic? Just double checking.

#590

nah, if you want me to, i can change it

#591

just putting it in chromatic but not changing the chords doesn’t feel like it should cut it

#592

Well that’s the whole challenge to use chromatic mode to enhance the chords. So you’ll probably wanna redo the entry
