If someone makes the beat for a track, you should consider making a āfeaturingā or even a straight collab.
Just a mention in the description isnāt enough, imo.

Thatās the way it works for Hip-Hop.
The producer isnāt given much credit, but itās alright because heās paid nicely.

I would imagine @Aviomusic isnāt paying nicely, or even at all, so credit is needed as compensation.

But yeah- I do produce for local rappers and other artists on SC. At first I left it to them to pay me out of courtesy- but as I started to gain real connections, and mentors I began selling more so now I ask for a payment depending on how much work you want in the project- I also engineer vocals and (correctly) master my projects once someone is interested in paying for it. That being said I have no issue throwing a free Beat here and there but I usually do it for my artists that I have worked with before- Iāll check out your SC and if I get a feeling that youāre really passionate about your music then I can give you a lower price than I would for just anybody. PM me on here if you are still interested, and Iāll keep working on the project

What youāre describing is a co-producer/co-production.
A āfeaturingā credit or a direct co-credit are more appropriate than a mention/link in the SC description.
(ā¦unless youāre going to pay them as well, in which case being listed as a co-producer in the track description would be fine.)
e.g.
Aviomusic - [Track Name] feat. [Artist 2/beatmaker]*
Aviomusic & [Artist 2/beatmaker] - [Track Name]
If it goes up on any monetised channels, streaming services, Apple Music, Google Play, etcā¦ there should also be a revenue split.
* Although this one could potentially be confusing as āfeat.ā normally refers to a guest vocalist.

Of course, if someone wants to do it for crumbs a mention in the SC description, thatās up to them.
But, itās disrespectful to this community and all other music makers to make that the āofferā.

I see where youāre coming from- Iām sure you donāt mean any disrespect- not everyone is ready to shell out money left and right, and I know not a lot of people on this forum are trying to take production 100% seriously as a lot of them are younger than I thought- I mean look at me lol Ive been producing for years but I just got on social media recently so I donāt have the fan base/ credibility just yet either- but if someoneās willing to go that extra mile and offer a fair payment I have a studio I rent for those types of things- and the tracks go beyond Auxy aloneā¦ in your case Iām still working on your beat, and like I said if you are interested in making this project work, just give me a PM even if itās just to chat about options. Iām willing to work with you
